Frequently asked questions
Will you really install equipment I bought myself?
Yes, that’s exactly what we do. As long as it’s new, correctly sized and compatible with your home, we’ll install it. We just ask that you send it to us for a free approval before you buy, so we can catch any problems while it’s still easy to change your order.
How much can I actually save?
It depends on the system, but homeowners commonly save anywhere from a couple thousand dollars to $5,000 or more on a full system replacement compared with a traditional all-in quote. The biggest savings come from buying equipment at retail instead of paying a contractor’s markup.
Does buying my own equipment void the warranty?
Not usually, but it depends on the brand and retailer. Some manufacturers limit warranties on equipment sold online or require installation by a licensed contractor. Checking this is a key part of our free equipment approval, and we help you register your warranty after the install.
Are your technicians licensed?
Yes. Every installation is performed or supervised by a Texas-licensed air conditioning and refrigeration (ACR) technician, and we pull permits where required by your city.
