A new air conditioner shouldn’t cost as much as a used car. We believe homeowners deserve honest pricing, real choices and a licensed install, without paying a markup to make that happen.
Our story
Anyone who has replaced an HVAC system knows the feeling: three quotes, three wildly different prices, and every one of them higher than you expected. Look up the same equipment online and you’ll find it for a fraction of what you were quoted. Ask the contractor to install the unit you bought yourself, and most will say no.
That’s because the traditional model depends on equipment markup. The install is often priced to break even; the profit is in the box.
We flipped that around. My AC Dude doesn’t sell equipment. We earn a fair, transparent price for doing the installation well. That means we’re happy to install what you buy, we have no reason to upsell you, and our advice about which system to buy is genuinely on your side.
Individually licensed technicians
Our installs are done by Texas-licensed ACR technicians, not unlicensed helpers. You know exactly who’s working on your home.
