Furnace installation done safely, at a fair price
Gas furnaces need more than a quick swap. Our licensed technicians handle the venting, gas connections and safety testing, so you can buy your furnace direct with confidence.

Furnace and air handler installation
In most Greater Houston homes the furnace or air handler is the indoor half of your HVAC system. It moves all of the air, heating or cooling. Whether you’re replacing a worn-out furnace on its own or doing a complete system change-out, we install it to code and to the manufacturer’s instructions.
What we install
- 80% AFUE gas furnaces: common in attics and closets, vented through metal flue pipe
- 90%+ AFUE high-efficiency furnaces: condensing furnaces vented with PVC, including condensate drainage
- Electric air handlers with heat strips, for heat pump and all-electric systems
- Variable-speed (ECM) blower models for quieter operation and better humidity control
What’s included
- Free equipment approval: size, AFUE, dimensions, venting and orientation (upflow, downflow or horizontal)
- Permit, removal and haul-away of your old furnace
- Gas line connection with new shut-off valve, sediment trap and leak test
- Flue / vent installation or modification to code, including clearances
- Plenum and transition fabrication to connect to your existing ductwork
- Condensate drain and secondary pan with float switch where required
- Combustion analysis, carbon monoxide check, gas pressure and temperature-rise testing
- Thermostat setup and full system walkthrough
Safety first
Gas furnaces involve combustion and carbon monoxide. Please don’t attempt a DIY gas furnace install. Every furnace we install is combustion-tested before we leave, and we recommend a working CO detector on every level of your home.
Furnace installation FAQs
Should I replace my furnace and AC at the same time?
If both are 12–15+ years old, replacing them together usually makes sense: the systems are matched for efficiency and warranty, and you only pay for one installation visit. If your furnace is relatively new, we can often install a new AC coil on top of it.
80% or 90%+ AFUE — which should I buy?
With our short heating season, an 80% furnace is often the most cost-effective choice, especially in attics. A 90%+ furnace makes more sense if you heat a lot or it’s required for your venting situation. We’ll help you decide during approval.
Can you move my furnace to a new location?
Often, yes. Relocations involve extra gas, venting, duct and electrical work, so we’ll look at it on site and include it in your written quote.
